Ginger as allergy remedy

Ginger has been utilized for more than 2500 years as a remedy for many disease and health problems such as appetite loss, dyspepsia, kinetosis, nausea and vomiting. Ginger is one of the trusted and time tested herbal remedy used in the treatment of allergies. As ginger root contains anti-inflammatory and pain alleviating properties, it stimulates the immune system of the body. The chemical properties in the ginger also help to relieve the patients from allergic reaction by countervailing effects of the platelet-activating factor (PAP). This multifunctional root also acts as an antihistamine to treat patients suffering from allergies and hypersensitive reactions. 

Some of the simple preparations using ginger  

Raw Ginger: You can eat it raw, just wash it, peel it and have it.

Ginger Juice: If you find it hard to eat the ginger in raw condition, you can make it as juice by adding apples and pears in it. Peels the skin of ginger and chop the apples, pears and ginger. Then blend it in a juicer.

Ginger Tea: Take a small piece of fresh ginger, peel the skin and crush it and place in a tea mug.  Then boil a cup of water and pour the boiled water over it. Keep it for 5 to 10 minutes and drink it immediately.
