Seasonal Allergy signs

Although seasonal allergies are of varied types, most of them show very common and similar symptoms. These symptoms are used to identify the kind of allergy. The most common of these symptoms are as follows:

  • Mild symptoms: If the allergy is mild in nature then the common symptoms are itchy watery eyes, rashes, congestion of the nasal passage. These do not spread to the other parts of the body.

  • Moderate symptoms: If the allergy is moderate then the symptoms might spread to other parts of the body. The most common symptoms are difficulty in breathing and itchiness.

  • Severe symptoms: Symptoms of severe allergy are referred to as anaphylaxis. This condition is extremely rare but is life threatening. The symptoms develop throughout the body almost immediately after the patient has been exposed to the allergens. Some of these symptoms are itching in the eyes, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, cramps, swelling which leads to difficulty in swallowing and breathing, and dizziness and mental confusion.

  • Other common symptoms are a feeling of laziness, sneezing, congestion, runny nose, dry cough, itchy throat, and watery, red eyes, poor sense of smell and taste, and difficulty while sleeping. The inner skin of the mouth becomes sensitive.
