Why do people have sinus Allergy |
Sinus infections also known as Sinusitis are triggered due to the inflammation of sinuses. The stimulation of these allergies depends on the several airborne agents that we inhale during breathing. It has been noticed that certain environmental irritants cause sinus allergies on inhalation. Pollen can be counted as one such irritant that trigger sinus allergies. Pollens are petite particles released from a particular flowering plant that enters our body and inhibits the mucus from draining properly. This leads to nasal blocks and thus sinus allergies. In addition, dander and pet hair, especially of cat and dog can cause severe form of sinus allergies. Excessive dust particles in the house can trigger attacks of sinusitis. Therefore, it is utmost important to live in a clean and dry environment in the house so as to avoid the chances of future sinus attacks. Pregnancy is another reason held responsible for the progression of sinus attack. During this condition, an expecting mom undergoes several hormonal imbalances which lead to nasal irritations observed in sinusitis. Further, the chlorinated water in the swimming pools is another blamable irritant for the stimulation of this condition. This water can aggravate inflammation in the nasal lining and thus lead to sinus attacks. |
